Princesse tam tam – circular economy initiative

Princesse tam tam – circular economy initiative 21-03-2024
Princesse tam tam is a large lingerie player in France, who has actively developed and implemented CSR policies impacting its production cycles and effectively reducing the impact of its various collections. The company decided to also carry-out initiatives to extend the lifecycle of its products.

48,000,000 bras are thrown away every year in France, often for a simple snag or minor problem.

• Princesse tam tamoffers its customers the opportunity to mend their lingerie to extend its life.

• The Atelier tam tam is a free service within two years of the purchase of an item from the brand, whether or not you are a member of the loyalty program.

• The products concerned are bras, panties and bodysuits. Princesse tam tam sets a deadline of 20 days before returning the item in its original condition -repaired- to the customer, either in store or at home.

• The two-year period to allow repairs seems long but reflects the seriousness of the approach.
