Improving the visitor experience

Challenge

The "la Caixa" Foundation's mission is to contribute to building a better and fairer society by providing opportunities for those most in need.

This project aims to improve the visitor experience at its flagship cultural centers, CosmoCaixa and CaixaForum, through enhanced communication and signage.
It also seeks to reconcile the "la Caixa" Foundation's outreach needs with the information needs of visitors, while simultaneously promoting the well-being of the teams working at these centers.

Solutions

Analysis of visitor experience and communication at the CosmoCaixa science museum and CaixaForum cultural centers to identify critical points and improve them. Evaluation of the visitor circuit and experience to better tailor communication across all centers. Categorization and design of signage messages, as well as their placement, to improve the visitor experience for different customer profiles. Interviews with center staff to understand their perceptions and attitudes toward their uniforms.

Results

Design of an effective communication guide for the centers, including message hierarchy and signage, as well as their optimal placement and communication support throughout the visitor circuit.
Comprehensive briefing on the new uniform design for each job position, as a strategic element of the visitor experience and reinforcement of corporate identity. These uniforms, in addition to ensuring specific functionalities, contribute to improving the well-being and sense of belonging of the teams.
